Dr. Chen is a board-certified dermatologist by the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in Canada, and by the American Board of Dermatology in the United States. She received her Honours B.Arts Sc. and MD from McMaster University. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Toronto and served as chief resident in her final year. Dr. Chen is a lecturer at the University of Toronto
Dr. Andrew Ferrier is a double board-certified dermatologist in Canada and the United States and practices in Edmonton and Fort McMurray, Alberta.
Dr. Andrew Ferrier received his BA in Biology from Lake Forest College as an NCAA student-athlete, Dr. Ferrier completed his PhD and post-doctoral fellowship in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa where he published numerous manuscripts detailing the pathological mechanisms underlying neurological disease. Following his PhD, he completed his medical degree at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine where he received the prestigious Canadian Medical Hall of Fame award. Dr. Andrew Ferrier went on to complete his dermatology residency at the University of Alberta.
Dr. Ferrier is passionate about medical, surgical dermatology, and clinical trials. Dr. Andrew Ferrier holds the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta and Director of Clinical Trials with Stratica Dermatology and is enthusiastic about new leading edge medical advancements that help his patients.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Patrick Fleming is a board-certified dermatologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto, with a clinical and research focus on inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. He practices at York Dermatology and Research Centre and is a consultant dermatologist at Toronto General Hospital.
He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Toronto, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Fleming is a graduate of the Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program in advanced epidemiology at Harverd Medical School. He also holds a degree in nutritional biochemistry, a Master’s in Community Health (with a focus on health policy), and a Graduate Certificate in Medical Education. He was awarded the Gold Medal in Medicine at Memorial University.
Dr. Fleming is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery and serves as an Examiner for the Royal College Dermatology Exam Board. He has been an investigator in over 50 dermatology clinical trials and has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications, including in JAAD, The British Journal of Dermatology, and CMAJ.
Dr. Malika Ladha is committed to bring excellence to medical and cosmetic dermatology. She is a double board-certified dermatologist in Canada and the USA. Born and raised in Alberta, she completed medical school and dermatology residency at the University of Calgary. She also completed Canada’s only official clinical fellowship in Laser Surgery and Aesthetic Dermatology at the University of Toronto. She then served as medical director of a prestigious clinic in Toronto, and has now returned home to provide dermatological care for Edmontonians. She is Alberta’s only female cosmetic fellowship-trained dermatologist. Dr. Ladha has published many peer-reviewed articles and recently published a textbook chapter on the use of fillers in skin of colour.
Dr. Stephanie Liu is a family physician who delivers evidence-based health information for moms and their little ones. Her blog, Life of Dr. Mom (@lifeofdrmom), was launched after the birth of her first child to debunk scientific misinformation. Dr. Liu, also known as Dr. Mom, quickly became know as a relatable and medically credible source of information about topics ranging from infant nutrition to postpartum depression to atopic dermatitis. She is also a health expert for multiple news outlets including CTV News, Global News, National Post and Today Show. In addtion to her medical pratice and work as a University of Alberta Assistant Clinical Professor, she also launched By Dr. Mom, and infant skincare line designed to treat dry, itchy and irritated skin.
Ashfaq A. Marghoob is a dermatologist specializing in the diagnosis and management of cancers of the skin. He is the director of the regional Memorial Sloan-Kettering skin cancer clinic in Hauppauge, New York. He is committed to patient care, research, and education. Dr. Marghoob has published over 400 articles in peer reviewed journals, has authored over 50 book chapters, and delivered countless lectures on topics related to benign and malignant skin tumors and their management. The focus of much of his research is on nevogenesis, melanomagenesis, and the early recognition of skin cancer by utilizing imaging technologies such as dermoscopy.

Dr. Marisa Ponzo is a double board-certified dermatologist currently practicing at the North York Dermatology Clinic. She earned her MD-PhD from McGill University, with a research focus in cancer biology, and completed her dermatology residency at the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Ponzo is the founding director of the PHC Dermatology Centre at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, where she also served as Division Head of Dermatology. She has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to dermatology textbooks. Her clinical and research expertise spans the spectrum of medical dermatology, with a particular interest in skin cancer and inflammatory skin diseases.
Actively involved in clinical trials, Dr. Ponzo remains committed to advancing dermatologic care through research and education. She is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and enjoys engaging with the global dermatology community.
Dr. Samuel Rodriguez completed his medical degree at the University of Sherbrooke and his specialization at McGill University. He also completed a training program in aesthetic medicine and laser surgery accredited by the Collège des médecins du Québec with dermatologist Dr. Jean-François Tremblay. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Rodriguez is a Faculty Lecturer at McGill University, where he teaches skin health, including acne, rosacea and eczema, to medical students.
